Austin Book is a lifelong lover of the sea and a passionate craftsman. Growing up along the central California coast, he developed a deep connection to boating and the ocean. His journey into custom marine canvas began as a natural extension of his love for craftsmanship and the marine lifestyle.
Austin co-founded Rocky Coast Canvas to bring personalized canvas solutions to boaters like himself. When he’s not working in the shop, you’ll likely find him on the water, enjoying his Wilderness 30 sailboat with his wife or catching waves at a local beach.
Ashley Book
Ashley Book is the organizational anchor at Rocky Coast Canvas, keeping the business running smoothly behind the scenes. From managing operations to handling administration, Ashley ensures every order is processed with care and precision.
She is also Research Faculty at the Naval Postgraduate School, where she focuses on innovation and technology, bringing a unique perspective to problem-solving and design. When she's not busy at Rocky Coast Canvas, Ashley enjoys sailing, spending time with her family, and, of course, keeping Rocky (the business's namesake) happy and well-loved.

Rocky is the true captain at Rocky Coast Canvas! As our quality specialist and chief morale officer, you'll find her stretched out in the sunshine, keeping a watchful eye as each custom canvas piece is created.
